Team In Training

     What is Team In Training?

Team In Training is the fund raising portion of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS).  Volunteers sign up to compete in events across the nation.

The team members have many opportunities to compete in numerous events, including:  Marathons, Half-Marathons, Tri-Athlons, Century Bike Rides (100mi), and Cross Country Ski Marathons (25K, 40K, 50K).

Team members help raise funds through donations, which is given to the LLS directly.  If a specified amount of money is raised, Team In Training will help pay for training expenses, travel expenses, event fees and lodging.  If the specified amount is not met, then the competitor has the opportunity to provide the difference, or drop out of training.

The donations are used for cancer research, patient bills, and other medical expenses in relation to blood diseases.

All donations go directly to  The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, which is 501(c)3 tax-exempt.
